Welcome. Friends of Port Willunga is a not-for-profit group of residents and property owners in the beautiful seaside suburb of Port Willunga.
We are dedicated to preserving and enhancing its natural and built environment, as well as its rich cultural heritage, both indigenous and post-settlement. In so doing, we aim to build community by uniting neighbours in pursuit of shared goals.
We seek to convey the concerns and aspirations of residents to local, state and federal government. We maintain effective working relationships with the City of Onkaparinga and other state and federal bodies, seeking input to planning decisions from inception to completion and beyond.
Friends of Port Willunga is also vitally concerned for the preservation of the character of the entire Willunga Basin region, through co-operation with other community groups such as the Friends of Willunga Basin, the McLaren Vale Biodiversity Project, Friends of Aldinga Scrub and the Willunga Basin Trail.
